Opis Management Resources, LLC is a company that manages and operates skilled nursing centers and assisted living communities in the state of Florida. 

Opis is led by Marilyn G. Wood, RN, NHA, who has worked in increasingly higher levels of management in the long term care profession since 1987. Opis has accomplished a high degree of success demonstrated by each discipline’s measurable outcomes and their favorable comparison to other providers within the state of Florida and throughout the nation.

Our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence can be exemplified by a sampling of Opis’ achievements:

• Opis employs a full time Physician to oversee and manage all facility Medical Director relationships.
  Three of ten Centers managed by Opis have been awarded the Governor’s Gold Seal of Excellence with one additional center eligible to receive this award in 2009.  A center must be in the top 5% to be eligible to apply for this distinction.
• Average daily revenue in Accounts Receivable of 29 days
• State survey results consistently exceed the state’s average
• Employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction survey results are among the best in our profession.  Two Centers received My InnerView’s 2008 Excellence in Action award for achieving overall customer or workforce satisfaction levels within the top 10%
• Overall turnover rates below 40% (industry average is 100%).
• Overall occupancy exceeds state average
• All centers have successfully eliminated utilization of nursing agency staff

We are one of the only long-term care companies in Florida to employ a full time physician to oversee and manage all of our facility Medical Director relationships.  Our regional clinical team conducts regular monthly site visits as well as annual quality reviews at each of our nursing centers.  They are also on-site during the actual survey and exit conference and coordinate any necessary appeals or independent dispute resolutions regarding issues arising from the survey results.
