Suzanne Foxcroft
Vice President of Clinical Services
As Vice President of Clinical Services, Suzanne Foxcroft is responsible for overseeing the clinical nursing operations in all of the nursing centers managed by Opis. In her role, Suzanne develops and monitors policies and procedures that are the basis for clinical nursing operations in each of our nursing centers. Her focus is to ensure our nursing centers provide quality health care, achieve appropriate clinical outcomes, and stay in regulatory compliance. Suzanne has worked at Genesis in Florida for 8 years and held various positions including Unit Manager, DON and Clinical Risk Manager.
While as a DON at Genesis, she played an integral part in achieving a deficiency free survey. As a Clinical Risk Manager, Suzanne has assisted in the development of nursing policies and systems to respond to and survive in an increasingly difficult regulatory and litigious environment in the state of Florida.
Suzanne and her team have an average of over 12 years each of experience working in and overseeing the nursing and clinical operations in the long term care profession in Florida. Their years of on–site survey support allow them to draw on years of experience, as well as relationships with state regulators, to help ensure our centers receive good survey results. Their quality reviews and systems that they have implemented also ensure that our nursing centers generate good clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Prior to working for Genesis she worked in various settings as a Registered Nurse including clinical coordinator of a dialysis unit in California as well as the home health care sector.
Suzanne obtained her RN license from Ormskirk General Hospital, England in 1984 and worked as a staff nurse for 3 years in a premier hospital in Northern England which performed elective orthopedic surgery on adults as well as children.
