Pam Carrube

Director of Staff Development

As Director of Staff Development, Pam Carrube is responsible for development, provision and oversight of all education provided to team members at Opis managed centers.

Educational resources and support are available but not limited to the following areas:

• Regulatory compliance
• Position specific skill development
• Management Development Training
• Mentoring
• Quality Improvement
• Continuing education for most licensed or certified job categories in nursing centers   

Pam has over 25 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Long-Term Care. Pam graduated in 1983 from Corning College in Corning, New York with an Associates Degree in Nursing.  She is certified by the ANCC in gerontology, and is involved in various Staff Development Organizations.(Suncoast Educators Association, Pinellas Area Nurse Educators and National Nurse Staff Development Organization).

Numerous frontline and management level nursing positions have prepared her to view things from both an operational as well as clinical viewpoint.

With this understanding comes the perspective necessary to facilitate the dissemination of valuable information with center team members in training sessions and educational materials.

Pam and her team of RN Staff Development Coordinators provide training programs designed to meet the needs of center team members.

They do this by reinforcing the need for Mission Driven, Positive, Respectful Customer Service and Continuous Improvement in the care and services provided by team members to the Customers in Opis centers.
